Hi folks,
I just bought myself an MFJ 1270B TNC-2, not bad, talked to MIR on it
last night using AX25 mode. I've got it running under linux with KISS
mode, but I have two questions:
1. How do I bring down the network interface? I can ifconfig ax0 down,
but how do I kissdetach? Killing kissattach leaves a stale lock file
on the serial port.
2. How do I revert to AX25 mode, under linux? The manual gives some command
for NOS (KA9Q?) to do it, but I don't think that helps much. Or does
kissparms do this? Right now, the backup battery doesn't work so I can
just cycle the power to it and get AX25 mode back, but I intend to
fix that.
