Most of these things can be found by doing a tracking list and noting when
the next pass is, and then looking further down at the ranges. I am not
sure that there is a need to explicitely calculate these things in a serpare
context.
WRT the text version, be my guest. I would imagine it would be nice to keep
the two sources in sync and generate two execuables and distribute as one
tar/rpm file. But in the meantime it may be an idea to keep them seperate,
all you really need is (a) the calculation engine (in track.c) and (b) the
data file formats, from get_data.c.
By careful modification of the code we could share these two source files
without nasty #define's, and by definition we would keep track of each
other. I am really only interested in developing the X based version to be
honest.
Once 0.20 is out, I am looking to add multiple satellite support, the Sun
and Moon, and Kansas City Tracker support. Sometime in 2099 maybe ?
