For which distribution do you need the binary package?
I can get you a Slackware package. I made this one some time ago on a
system running kernel 2.0.35. I've been using it ever since on various
machines running all kinds of kerenls including 2.2.9
If anybody is interested I can upload it somewhere.

PS. I also have a z8530drv Slackware package that can be used with both
2.0.x and 2.2.x kernels.
