Reading the FBB 7.00 manual once again I stumped into the memory cache options in init.srv and noticed that, running on Linux I THOUGHT that the EMS/XMS options were no longer valid, and set a 0 there. But on FBB 5.15c, it was mandatory that it be non-zero to have WP available, so I set a 2 on that line of init.srv, as if were using XMS. Rebooted the BBS (/R) and there they were, Ix commands available as always before. I believe there should be a line stating the options not only for MSDOS/Windows, but also for Linux, because, honoring accuracy, there is no EMS/XMS on Linux ! I wanted to CREATE a WP record (IE callsign) and I got: *** Error: Not found. And, of course it isn't ! It was possible to create and edit WP records on 5.15, so, is it another bug here or it is like everybody elses nowadays ?? 73 de Jose, CO2JA ----- Ing. Jose A.
