RedHat 6.0

I have just Installed RedHat 6.0. I want to get ax25 working. There is a
bewildering number of files and versions of files.The HOWTO has a 1997 date
on it.Can some one assist me with a list of what needs to be done to bring
up AX25 on RH6.0?
