I have brought this up because w/o the soundmodem loaded the PPP link works just fine,
even if I have sound loaded. Tried compiling PPP into the kernel and it still locks
up. The main thing I want to do is look at the APRS info on our 95 machine because 16
meg of ram doesn't really cut it.
I will say I was able to get the Ethernet back up after it stopped but I don't
want to have to play with ip_alias and the routing table going between eth0 & eth0:1.
