Hello all!
I just uploaded the new LinuxNode version 0.3.0 to ftp.hes.iki.fi. It
requires libax25-0.0.4 or newer and a 2.2.x kernel. It will _NOT_ work
with 2.0.x kernels.
Please read the README and INSTALL files! Node should work with your old
configuration files but due to the new command parser a slight adjustment
is needed in the Alias and ExtCmd definitions. See the node.conf(5) manual
page and the example files in etc/ directory. All in all I recommend first
backing up your old config files, then doing a "make installconf" and
finally editing the new files to suit your system.
I tried to update the node(8) and node.conf(5) manual pages to reflect
all the changes but I might have forgotten some. Anyway please read the
manual pages before using the new node!
