It must be, traceroute allows me to access all his machines as well as
telnet etc, of which ALL requests on ALL his machines get denied, execpt his
windows machine which allows a connection to a dxcluster.

netmask/broadcast set incorrectly was my assumption when i did my stuff
yesterday but of course i could be wrong. At first sight its a very wierd
setup to say the least, but of course he could have his resaons for doing it
that way.
