6pack.o problem

ax25 compiles ok and no problem running kiss, but 'insmod 6pack' ends up
with
the following message:

./6pack.o: unresolved symbol  ax25_encapsulate
./6pack.o: unresolved symbol  ax25_rebuild_header

any suggestions how to solve?
