Hi all, here's a little problem to ponder on
the local node to me runs pc flexnet and the ip side is'nt working, so it means
for me to connect to my
system at home its an ax25 connect to db0mws and then an ax25 ish connect to
hb9f.
only then can I telnet to my system.
Is there any way I can encap the ip , similar to the method used to encap ip in
netrom with ax25, to get round this flexnet thing. The netrom bit dont work
either !
Not knocking the system here its a lot faster than anything in the UK, but I
would like to be able to move the odd file by ftp between here and the uk should
I need to.
Running RH5.2 kernel 2.0.36 , ax25utils and tnos 2.30 with net2kiss to link the
baycom driver to tnos,
that was the only way I could think of to use just 1 ip address.
BTW on the subject of CEPT callsigns , I've got round it by using
gw8jvm@db0aab, but as you probally
guessed with flexnet, gw8jvm is already on a lot of node lists all over Germany
!!!,
but at least it stops white pages getting its knickers in a twist when I get
home at weekends
73's all dc/g8jvm weekdays and g8jvm at weekends, well some of them!
