Ariel/Thomas and the group,

I tested the soundmodems (kernel 2.2.5, I believe) a time ago. The 1200,4800
and 9600 modems did function with some local bbs's and stations on my
ft-847, so I guess it should talk to other modems (it did connect to my HAPN
connected to a TM702E).

Performance was not optimal, but it should hear 50-70% of the packets on my
SB-16. Right now I'm using a SB-Live in my linux box, but I don't know if
it's supported yet in the SM driver (I simply didn't test).
