Thanks... Yes, these are pre-compiled packages. I don't know if these
also work on the older (libc5 based) systems. I haven't tried yet. My
guess is that they won't work... Try it and let us know :-)
But you could always get my older packages that I have been using on
Slack-3.5, 3.6 and 4.0. These can be found on
ftp://sharon.esrac.ele.tue.nl/pub/linux/slakware/
