I have a question on this: what kind of rtx you could use with it?
I've seen this stuff and I think it could have interesting uses
especially for laptop operation. For 9600 I think a standard FM rtx
could work, but for higher speed there kits or schematics to build the
radios.
Back in topic: Anyone has used this modem under Linux, and how works?
I had some non so good experiences with 8530/85230 card and S55MV's
38400 manchester modem and radios. I have tried an s55scc and a gpcm-escc
card with a 15%-30% packet loss, with the radio 300 m each other.
I'm using still 2.0.36, so maybe there are better drivers for scc cards
under 2.2 kernels?
