Dear Sirs,

I have two EPPFLEX modems up and running with the following configuration:

- RedHat Linux 6.0 (kernel 2.2.5-15)
- ax25 and KISS support in the kernel
- the baycomepp-0.7-1.i386.rpm driver for the modem
- ax25-utils-2.1.42a-3.i386.rpm
- One Pentium 160 Mhz and one 486DX4-100 at each end

I have configured the baycomepp scipt to use local ip-adresses and O can do a ping
from on machine to the other.

My problem is that the average time for a ping with 64 bytes is about one second !! Is
this normal ??

I would also like to know how I shall configure the axports file. Currently I can't
use the kissparams command ... Does anyone now how to configure the axports file when
using a EPPFLEX modem at 76k8 kbit ?? How do I call kissparams with that file ?
Examples on the axports file ??

Thank you in advance !

        /Anders
