Weeell....since I jumped to RedHat, I have had to make a symlink from
a fake /axports to the real /etc/ax25/axports for it to work.

Somebody explained that it is a bug somewhere in RedHat or the ax25-
utils that the proper directory is not properly referred to during
compile time, and so, it goes to / looking for axports. My memory
fails to remember the details.

The symlink was the easy way out for me, before I knew the above
explanation. I was in a hurry and didn't mend the cause when it
was posted to this list.

Could we get a refresh of what is wrong with the sources by whom
knows it better ?
