Nothing strange with my mail client. It was of "message/rfc822" type.
I wonder how long it will take until the popular mail clients will
handle multipart/signed correctly...

But it says "...might be used..." -- a compiler is a compiler, not a
code analyzer after all. Anyway, that part of the code is poor style,
regardless the warning.
