There can be many reasons why people do not respond to your questions.
The first thing to note is your email was treated strangely here and
did not end up in the linux-hams folder but the bulk (read it when I
get around to it) folder, something is wierd with your headers.

Secondly, many people including myself run mail filters over mail lists.
This is done because I receive approximately 100 messages a day and some
lists, including this one, there is often what I would call emails that
either I cannot help or are not interested in or are not appropriate.
Send an email with a subject that has that word, we don't even see it,
much less reply to it.

For those who care, my kill list is:
* Subject:.*(kernel|tnos|smtp|xfbb|mail2bbs|mailgw|rtty)
Why kernel? because it is often about how to compile one.  Most of the
other are program I don't run, don't know about and there are others
that know about it far better than me.

Next two biggest sins of email lists is to ask the same question 20
other people have just asked OR not give enough information about
something.
