Hi, I am playing around with pr and linux. Now I notice a strange behaviour. With a small machine load I cant receive any packet, hm, perhaps 5 packets/30 mins. But if load gets higher (kernel compile, while (1); end) all works fine. If have tested this a few times. Is there a timingproblem or a trick that I have missed? I have searched the ml-archive. There are some postings about problems with 16550a uarts. So I tried a very old seriell card with a 16450. Same behaviour, except I could not send anymore ;(. Hm, maybe the card is damaged. Tested kernels are 2.2.12 and 13. Thank you Michael, DG4MW
