It must lye with the way you are connecting and your terminal type,
as when i try the same as above i get logged in no problem.
All i can say is check the way telnet is working on your terminal. i
saw that you are a systemm operator of the system concerned, which
brings up a question, is it all happening on the same machine or
network.??
Once agian there is no problem to login from here.
