Oops i forgot to comment on the above, sorry for a 2 mails instead of
one.

The directorys will only apier _after_ the interfaces are upped,
providing of course you have full ax25 support in the kernel or
compiled in module form.

The documentaion is possably out of date, others will possably tell
you howto get baycom working, i dont have one so i cant.
