ip-ip route config

greetings,

i need to configure an ip-ip route. i issue :

route add -net 44.163.64.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw tunl0 206.48.104.7

but i get the error message :

tunl0: Unknown host

what am i doing wrong here? thanks for any help.
