Hello,

A few weeks ago i've upgraded our radio club server to 2.2 (2.2.13
currently).
This server has several network interfaces (ax0, bcsf0, scc1, eth0, lo).
It's running Debian 2.1 upgraded to glibc_2.1 and with some upgrades for
net-tools to accomodate 2.2.x.

Prior to this upgrade i had IP_Forwarding enabled and i did use it for
debugging purposes (LAN <-> Hamnet without masquerading) as well as for
users because our server is physically located between 2 subnets every
user can't physically reach because of distance.

Since the upgrading process i've lost this ability even if i still have
the '/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward' enabled as i did with 2.0.x series.

I've even tried to set all the Firewalling/Masquerading/Forwarding stuff
through ipchains as i've set on my personal machine. It didn't work and
don't have any forwarding at all, neither between AX.25 interfaces nor
through the eth0 interface.

As the main difference between these 2 machines is the AX.25 stuff, i'm
wondering if it could be an AX.25 related problem.

Before digging into deeper details or providing more information does
anyone have an idea of what could be going on with this server ?
Does your IP-Forwarding work on an AX.25 machine running 2.2.x kernels ?

Tnx for taking time to read.
Alex.
