The speed information in axports is mainly intended for programs such as
kissattach so they can set the serial port speed according to it (so it's
pc<->tnc). I'm not sure if any other program really uses that value for
anything. A value of zero is ignored by kissattach, that is kissattach
doesn't touch the speed setting then.
