Don't have any docs, but I just finished figuring out how to make it work . . .
In port.conf, your need two entries:
1) The first goes in the Interfaces section, and looks like this:
#Com Interface Adress (Hex) Baud
2 9 189C 10000000
(#1 is for my TNC) You still use interface 9 since it is linux, the Address
is the HEX representation of the TCP port number to receive telnets on (in
my case 6300), and the baud rate needs to be something, although it is
ignored, so I stuck in 10 million, and the base speed for 10B-T to remind me
that this is for the network connect.
2) The second entry if for the specific interface. It should look
pretty much like your TNC interface, but the Type flag should be
a "T" instead of an "X". I also took off the "L" cuz I am not
sure what a beacon would look like in tcp/ip.
You also need to adjust the TNC/PORTS counts to reflect the new devices.
The only caveat beyond this is that the user must have the "M" (Modem)
attribute set to be allowed to login via the telnet - it is secured the same
as the modem.
Hopefully this will get you going. I am using fbb 7.01i under Kernel 2.2.14,
so if you are on 7.00g, it may be slightly different, but I doubt it . . . .
