First of all I am a totally HAM-newbie ...
But a few days ago I had an idea and I want to know if it is possbile to
implement
In belgian the local phone connections are quite expensive and a friend of
mine want to get connected
to me using a CB radio with a packet modem the flight distance is about 3
kilometers.
So can I use 2 linux boxen 2 CB radios and 2 packet modems to connect
eachother and can
i run a protocol like PPP or something else over the link in a way that he
is an IP node in my network ?
Could you guys also pass me evetual links and references to this kind of
stuff
