You can beg if you want, but that is not the case.

It was early November when slackware 7 came out if i remember
correctly, the date stamps on the files are mostly Oct 25. I dont see
how slackware 4.0 could have been the Latest just before Christmas.

Yes they are quite old, but the information does help more than you
think.
Another thing is, i also belive Slackware 4.0 uses libc5, the present
ax25-stuff uses glibc, so you are possably going to have more
problems than just HOWto's. Unless you have installed glibc.
