Nooo.... Not with 10base2. Can't remember if it is 185 ft or 185 metres
(as I said earlier). 10base5 (Thick ethernet is ok at 1500ft IIRC.

Apart from the obvious (two seperate networks), two cards in one machine
on one network is a way of increasing throughput (particularly with old
slow cards).
I forgot to say in my earlier post - it is good practice to earth one end
of the co-ax. It is BAD practice to earth both ends - especially if the
ends are in different buildings (with a different "earth" potential).
