Hello:

I am Wahyu Kelik from University of Indonesia.
From 1998 until now, I have run 2 SuSE as our main packet radio
gateway and router.
Those gateway and router use 486SX 12 MB RAM and 40 MB HDD.
And for packages, I only choose basic kernel support and HAM utility
(also some software like squid-proxy, proftpd and postfix).
It is already 2 years since our first gateway is running, and the downtime
is only 2 minutes per week. I use 1k2bps, 2k4bps, 9k6bps and 19k2bps
in a single computer (connected to campus network via fiber optic).
Sorry, maybe my respond didnot answer your question.

Sincerely,
-kelik-
