I've recently setup a IPIP gateway under the 2.2 kernel. Found all the tools to make it possible. I've also converted the script included into the HOWTO to work with the new tools unde the 2.2 kernel.
But I've got one little problem, or maybe not. Let's stat with the equipement. I've got a Paccomm TINY-2 MK2 TNC with one of Motorola UHF radio. The TNC is placed in kiss mode.
For the software, I've got Linux Redhat 6.0 with kernel version 2.2.5-15 with not patch set. FOr the axtools, I've got version libax25-0.0.7 ,ax25-apps-0.0.4 and ax25-tools-0.0.5.
I use the kissattach to add the interface to be bind using the serial port.
Now the problem that I have is that when trying to connect to the 44 network, their is multiple transmit, then seems to wait, then receives the stuff or replies. Le tme give you an exmaple, when doing a ping with a 44 adress, their is multiple transmit (I can see the lights on TNC and I see with ifconfig TX packet increading) but nothing would ack the first ping.
Can someone point me on how to rule out this problem or is it normal ????? The TNC operates at 1200 Baud.....
