help: APC BackUPS 500

hi,

i have a APC Back-UPS 500M ups. it did not come with the special serial 
cable. i wrote them (APC) several times about a wiring diagram so i could 
at least build my own cable and got no reply at all. i've given up on them 
and their brand name. does anybody here have wiring diagram of a working 
cable so i can construct one for my 500M model ups, please? thank you in 
advance.
