kissattach -l -m 256 /dev/ttyS0 radio 44.52.0.254
Is how it should be, note the -l -m do not need to be used.
-l = logg to the system log
-m set mtu (if none given paclen in axports is used)
Or it could be that you have not loaded the mkiss module, or no mkiss
compiled into the kernel.
