Baycom Modems

Greetings,

Is it possible to have more than one instance of a Baycom modem 
loaded at the same time?

I have tried but the second modem never gets loaded and yes I 
have changed the ttyS0 to ttyS1 and changes the callsign as well 
in the ifconfig statement and axports.
