Hi,

I'm doing tests with the RSPFd (by Craig Small) and I had a few
problems with the transmission of "Routing Hellos". I found that it is
imperative to define a broadcast address for each interface for the
program to work well. This broadcast address must be different in each
interface.
  I'm using something like this:

    scc0 BroadCast Address 44.158.1.255 Netmask 44.158.0.0
    scc1 BroadCast Address 44.158.2.255 Netmask 44.158.0.0
    scc2 BroadCast Address 44.158.3.255 Netmask 44.158.0.0

Without BroadCast Address defined at the first "Ifconfig Up", the
RSPF Daemon won't transmit IP packets.
This is only a solution for all those who had the same problem.

But, currently my problem is the following:

Station A transmit a "Rounting Bulletin"
Station B receives and says, in the debug information, that the packet
was discarded because the CHECKSUM of the packet is different from the
expected one. It reports the received and the expected CHECKSUMs. I have
verified that the received checksum is ALWAYS the same.
This problem was verified in Both directions.

I'm using RSPFd v1.0 (the latest). I had the problems with v0.9. Never
tested the earlier versions.

     Regards to All,

   Jorge Matias (CT2HBZ)
