Subject: Two graphic cards problem?
Since my built in ATI 3D rage pro AGP only has 4Mb, I added a 32Mb
Savage4 PCI card to my system. Since I switched to XFree86 4.0.3
(coming from 3.3.6), whenever I do something daring as eg. try to play
myth2 or hit a webpage with something for Macromedia Flash Player, I get
kicked out of my X-session. The X-server restarts.
Any input, someone?
Thanks,
Gerard H. Pille

Subject: harddisk raid & machine hanging

hi,
I have installed an Atlon 1.2GHz with software raiding of 4 81GB
maxtor disks on two promise boards.
It generally works with the tiny problem that I can only get full speed
on one of the two promise boards, but that's not the problem:
If I write large amounts of data (over ~100MB) to the raid-arrays
over the network, the machine sometimes just hangs and nothing works
except pressing the reset-button causing at least a -hour fsck-cycle.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this and does anyone know
how to cure it?
Best regards
Bjorn Lundberg
