Ideal candidate is required to have:
At least 2 years of hands on web development experience using the Java
programming language
Good working knowledge of at least one of the frameworks of Apache
Wicket, JSF, Struts (1-2), GWT
Very good command of the Java programming language, OOP concepts,
multi-tier architecture
Very good understanding of Java web development concepts (servlets,
JSPs, tag libraries, filters, war files etc.)
Thorough understanding of HTML, xHTML, CSS, HTTP protocol, cookies and SSL
Understanding of application usability principles and information
architecture
Good knowledge of Javascript, Ajax and JSON. Familiarity with a client
side framework such as Prototype, JQuery, Dojo, YUI
Knowledge of SQL, JDBC and ORM (JPA, Hibernate)
Good level of English
Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
and following specialities will be considered as a plus:
Familiarity with other web development technologies such as PHP, Ruby on
Rails, .NET etc.
Familiarity with RIA frameworks such as Adobe Flex or JavaFX and
dependency injection (Spring, Guice)
Familiarity with web design tools like Photoshop and Dreamweaver
Analytical mind capable of translating competitive analysis, industry
trends into actionable insights on process design
Awareness of current trends in human factors
Deployment experience, such as Apache httpd and loadbalancer configuration
