*       Demonstrated success in a technical pre-sales role supporting Senior
Sales Executives, including excellent presentation and documentation skills.

*       Communication and technical skill set with a proven track record of
developing relationships at engineering, commercial and CxO levels
throughout organizations. 
*       Strong knowledge of UNIX / Linux systems, preferably in Red Hat
platform products including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Network
Satellite, MRG, and other related technologies. 
*       Knowledge of technologies as Clustering, Directory Services,
Identity Management, etc. and/or programming languages of Python, Perl, Java
etc. would be preferred.  
*       Able and willing to continually develop skills and technical
knowledge.  
*       A strong passion for open source technologies and a desire to be
part of a company that is redefining the entire software industry.  
*       Ability to work as part of a young and dynamic team whilst
demonstrating flexibility, autonomy and a desire to make things happen.

Job Description:

*       Support the sales team in the delivery and implementation of Red Hat
products and offerings. 
*       Present to potential customers on complex operating systems and
design value driven architectures, and explain the application and ROI of
those technology solutions. Deliver compelling recommendations which
directly result in the closing of new sales.  
*       Gain an in-depth understanding of customer business and IT
environment; collaborate with sales team to assess the potential
application of Red Hat products. 
*       Use skills as a technical solutions expert and understanding of Open
Source industry best practices to guide selection of techniques and
technologies for delivering solutions. Interact in an authoritative fashion
with Red Hat sales team and customer senior management. 
*       Communicate value, progress and status of sales opportunities to all
stakeholders. Share knowledge and findings to allow SA team members to learn
from your successes and mistakes. 
*       Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on
specific applications. Prepare detailed product specifications and
implements detailed customer installation plans.  
*       Represent Red Hat to the customer and the customer to Red Hat in
sales-related matters.
