Having experience about AWS is a plus. · Expertise with troubleshooting complex OS, database, network configuration, and applications server issues · Experienced in working with puppet, chef, and other DevOps automation tools deployed in virtual environments · Experienced with at least one scripting language (Bash, Python etc) · Experience managing and troubleshooting large scale database systems · Experience in CI & CD · Expert knowledge of one of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL · Advanced knowledge of SQL · Advanced knowledge of no-SQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch etc) · Deep knowledge in TCP/IP · Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, XML, JSON, CSS etc) · Expertise with building system capacity models, logging and monitoring infrastructure · Strong drive to learn new technologies, including commercial and open-source *Job Description* · Metglobal is one of the major global wholesalers of hotels and travel services and we use our vast inventory of travel products to supply travel agencies, tour operators and other travel businesses and also to power B2C & B2B websites. · We are currently looking for Devops Engineers who will be responsible in first level of Metglobal products. You will have the opportunity to work with wide range cloud infrastructures, high load web traffic, fast growing server environments and very talented engineering teams. · Working closely with developers on projects. · Monitoring system health and support services and infrastructure when alerts are escalated. · Making daily operational system related tasks. · Building automated cloud infrastructures and continuous integration systems for development products. · Working close with Product System Engineers to scale and build the next generation of the product backend.
