*Junior Full Stack Developer*
*Required Skills:*
* Excited about active software development and being a part of a
living software lifecycle,
* Familiar with Python and at least one of following programming
languages Bash, Java, PHP,
* Familiar with Flask, Django or other MVC frameworks for Python,
* Familiar with design patterns, software development lifecycles,
software engineering principles
* Up-to-date, in-depth knowledge and proven development experience of
modern HTML/CSS3/JavaScript and front-end frameworks (jQuery,
Angular, Extjs, Bootstrap),
* Familiar working with 3rd party APIs,
* Working knowledge of web and application servers management and
configuration (e.g. Apache, NodeJS, Nginx),
* Familiar with developing programming and systems solutions to
integrate data into visualization and data management environments,
* Comfortable with Linux environments including basic sysadmin-like works,
* Familiar with version control,code review and deployment tools such
as Git, Svn, Maven,
* Clear communication skills,
* Good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written,
* Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach
to problem solving, good time management and task prioritized skills.
* 2+ years of experience
*Desired Skills:*
* Deep knowledge with jQuery.
* Experience in building enterprise web applications with a focus on
search, data or visualization,
* Experience with optimizing website performance.
*Responsibilities: *
* Be a self-starter and a problem solver,
* Write quality code and follow existing development standards,
* Optimize existing technology architecture for enhanced performance
and maintainability,
* Work with the rest of the team to discuss best approaches for
projects in the pipeline,
* Research spikes to discover implementation options for requirements
that require new patterns or technology,
* Manage the balance of effort between technology evolution &
maintenance and new feature delivery,
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure shared best practices are
maintained across teams,
* Optimize and refactor codebase according to best practices,
* Use UI / UX-oriented pixel-perfect development across all
screens/devices.
