What will you do?
You will be part of the AQA scrum team who makes sure that all our systems operate with zero downtime and can be updated as rapidly as possible. You'll help automate the most essential parts of the in-house developed application and the production of smoke-testing for smoothest possible delivery to live environments. You'll also help replace time-consuming regression testing with solid automation test cases.
In this, your duties will be:
- Preparation of test cases;
- Mapping / conversation of manual test cases onto AQA scope;
- Implementation of automation test cases, test suits, and test runs.
What is our technology stack?
Main technologies are Java, Maven, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNg. We also use Allure, GitLab, Jenkins, HTML5/CSS, AJAX, JSON, jQuery as well as PHP frameworks Zend and Symphony2. Their database runs on PostgreSQL.
If you're an expert in some testing technology or toolkit not listed here we are open to hearing you out - as the company is still developing, We are open to changes in its tech stack.
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, you have 2+ years experience in testing automation and you have a solid knowledge of modern AQA tools and techniques. Preferably, you are experienced in testing or automation testing large-scale systems with 100,000s of end-users.
We will give a strong preference to candidates who have worked with modern financial applications in lending / banking / fintech / accounting / payment processing.
We're looking for someone focused and diligent, with a great eye for details. You must also understand and follow the startup mindset where new ideas and initiatives as well as flexibility and agility are highly appreciated. We'll consider ISTBQ certificates as advantageous.
You must be proficient in English. Russian skills (at least understanding) are definitely a plus.
