It will make no difference. The ISA/PCI means how the card "talks" to the
computer, and not how it "talks" to the outer world.
You can use any combination you want.
When you buy the cable, make sure that you get a twisted one (if you connect
those two 'puters back to back without a hub/switch/whatever between).
