Hi,
I've install my RH5.2 system about 5 times in the last week, Why ......
I just played with the kernel too much so finally it just decided it had
enough and died.
anyhow, What I was wondering about is :
Why do I get a different system every time I reinstall RH ?
I've selected the same parameters and packages the same drivers etc.'
but still every time the kernel is different. For instance : My
/dev/mouse was liked to different places. Sound was sometimes installed
strait from the box and some times I had to recompile to get sound etc.'
etc.' ...............
Why is that happening ?
Is there a way to ensure that I have the same system installed every
time ?
