Don't ask such questions "why" - that's how business in Israel is done.
Don't ask, or I'll ask you why tech support of one of the largest
provider in Israel never (and I mean NEVER) called me back or done what
they promise from the first, second and third time. Or I'll ask you why
one of the largest Israeli computer shops refused to tell me what some
software package (picture album) contains and when I asked why they just
won't open one pack and show to customers they said me "we don't do such
things" with face expression like I offered the service girl to strip
right there and then. Or why when I open LJ there's tons of advertisements
of hardware working with Linux, and here to buy an UPS that works with
Linux becomes Mission Impossible or, at best luck, "catch you chance".
And so on, and so on. Because. Because there's how things are done.
Because we are accepting this. Because these things just suck here.
