Hi
I have 0.98 Installed, from 10/1998 (don't know what RH6 delivers),
and it's docs say :
Protected-mode version of the Borland Turbo Assembler. It crashes with
"out of memory" at startup. I traced it at the assembly level, no
result until now. Maybe a DPMI problem (97/03/04).
I guess the same goes with other protected mode compilers. I don't
remember if turbo pascal 5.5 could run in protected mode, but I'm
pretty sure it will work fine if all you need is real mode (e.g.
can live with 640KB RAM, etc.).
