Hi all,
Here is something that I've run into in sndconfig under kernel 2.2.13
Aparently, the modules of the CS423X sound card (Intel Motherboards and
CrystalSound Cards) is broken, the sndconf program fails on modprobe
without giving out a message of somekind.
I've worked aroud it by configuring the card to be good old trusty 8bit
Sound Blaster, but I lost Stereo and 16Bit sampling.
If anyone else noticed the problem, or found a better work around,
please contact me, before I go off and contact the people at kernel.org to
report something that might not be there.
Best regards,
Nir Simionovich
