M>> what i wonder is what should i should use as file server samba or NFS ?

If you have Windows computers - SAMBA is better, if not - NFS.

M>> i took look at both NFS and SAMBA how-to's it looks like NFS is
M>> much more easy to install.

NFS is native UNIX service, and SAMVA was added later, and being imported
from Microsoft world, it takes some things to do.

M>> and wont have problems with NETBEUI that samba might have ?

SAMBA shouldn't use NETBEUI anyway. SMB works well over TCP.
So, if you have no windows to give file services to, use NFS. If you do,
use samba or both.
