Shalom, I evaluate the effort to port existing embedded application to Linux. One issue is POSIX.4 compliance. Since POSIX.4 is not supported by Linux I'd like to ask: 1) What Linux system calls provide similar or equivalent features to POSIX.4 message queues, semaphores, shared memory, signals, scheduling, timing? 2) Anyone with experience in porting POSIX.4 compliant code to Linux, please, share the experience.
