just to make things a bit clearer, the 'linux runtime environment' lecture will touch on subjects such as virtual memory, process lifetime cycle, shared libraries, environment variables, etc. As relevant to the systems administration track, we'll deal with the technical issues, and see how they could help a good(tm) system administrator resolve real-life problems. after writing the topics down, it appears that there is more to cover then i originally thought. thus, the lecture will either take a little longer then usual, or will be broken down into two different lectures. in the later case, the second part will be given sometime in the future (4 or 6 weeks after the first lecture). As orr wrote, i'd like to remind you that the meeting will be held in the _NEW_ computer science building at the technion. For those who're not familiar with the naming conventions for buildings in the technion, i quote Orr that said there are now 3 different buildings there named 'Taub'. thus, if you are not a CS student and you need to ask around, ask about the Taub that serves as the new CS building, not the Taub computations center... see you all there, guy "For world domination - press 1, or dial 0, and please hold, for the creator." -- nob o. dy ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
