I need a big workspace on my comuter (above 1GB !).
I have only 256mb ram so I need a large swap space (about 1.5 GigaByte).

I am working with RedHat6.1 and as far as I know it can handle only 8
swap parititions max.
I'm buying a seperete HD for this pupose.
How do I expend the number of swap pars. or creating a large swap file ?

What's better between the above (multi parititions or 1 file) ?
Any advise is welcome.
Thanks, Yaniv
