It is my understanding that /usr/share/consolefonts/iso08.f*.psf.gz that is 
provided by console-tools is meant to be used on 7 bit terminals.
Quoting from vim hebrew help:

The vim Hebrew support has a bug because it   
        Does not support 7 bit terminals.  Only a terminal with complete
        Hebrew English font (without need to send escape sequences to switch
        between Hebrew and English) is supported.

Am I right? Where can I find "complete" Hebrew English font for the Linux 
console? Does console-tools provide some other Hebrew fonts that I can use?
