Having a difficult day, so bear with me on this one.
After much personal confusion over the semantics of enable and
disable, I may safely say that my personal opinion is
echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
is the right thing to do when setting up the firewall. I was looking
elsewhere when I splurted my previous opinions.
So, Guy, thanks for turning me around, even if your vitriol could
take some toning down, Chen, here is my final line, Mike, sorry if I
confused you, and list, sorry for trying to help.
